Enter the Dragon

As anyone who’s ever played EDH knows, any card with an Enter the Battlefield (ETB) effect is of high value, as they have an immediate impact when they’re cast. Thanks to the printing of Restoration Angel, creatures with ETB effects are at a power-level high.

Modern has a great range of ETB creatures, but the ones with the highest power level tend to be in Blue and White. With the printing of M13, Augur of Bolas joins the list, and he just happens to play very well with Snapcaster Mage.

As such, I think it’s fair to say that decks that run 55+ of the following main deck cards will be around for a while and extremely powerful.

I’m calling this archetype “The Dragon”, to differentiate it from other UW Control decks and Delver decks. Dragon decks are all about Entering. Geddit. GEDDIT?
